It is in the dynamic seaside resort of Saint-Jean-de-Monts, between its town center and its pine forest, a 10-minute walk from its magnificent sandy beach, that the Besseau family is pleased to welcome you. A pleasant place to stay with its indoor swimming pool, its whirlpool bath, its beautiful terrace, its restaurant and its 58 cozy rooms. A place where you feel good ... at home, no doubt because here it is above all the story of a family which for three generations has watched over its guests with warmth and friendliness.

It all started in 1947 with the creation of a dance hall by Louisa and Albert Meriau, a stone's throw from the town of Saint-Jean-de-Monts. The elders still remember the ball "Chez Meriau" which enabled many couples to meet! It was in 1953 that the activity was transformed into a restaurant and guesthouse. An activity that did not stop growing with the construction of new buildings to transform it into a hotel, with the help of Louisa and Albert's children. In 1994, their daughter, Arlette, and her husband Bernard created 30 additional rooms and the indoor swimming pool.

Over the years, the establishment has grown and modernized to propose you the best. Fewer rooms but with enhanced comfort.
Today, it is Sonia, the daughter, third generation who continues to write the pages of this family saga while respecting the values of authenticity that have built the personality of the place. With her team, she invites you to come and recharge your batteries during a family holiday, a stopover, a stop-lunch but also during a seminar or a reception to be organized in Vendée.
